The Trust recently devoted an entire day providing quality healthcare to poor and arranged for free check-ups of patients. 275 patients arrived in just 4 hours that day and were thoroughly examined. Not only the check-up, but also medicines and IV were administered free of cost.
LKMWT Medicine Drive
Latif Kapadia Memorial Welfare Trust is helping many relief efforts and has volunteered in many charity projects. Recently, the trust conducted a medicine drive in Synergy Advertising’s offices at Karachi and Lahore.
Synergy employees were requested to bring unused/unused and unexpired medicines lying at their homes. The results were that a large number of medicines, including many over the counter drugs as well as expensive antibiotics, were collected. All those medicines were then donated to Medihealth Clinic which runs under the trust.
Where There is a Will, There is a Way!
Even with scant resources both in human and material terms, MediHealth Clinic (Shah Faisal Colony) finally gets underway in the month of September. With one doctor, one nurse, one assistant, one receptionist, one cleaner, one guard, MediHealth brings a small but nevertheless important change. We have registered over 200 patients who visited the clinic for consultancy or treatment in an environment that they deserve.
