LKMWT has partnered with Indus Hospital to provide additional benefits to the patients. Under an agreement between Medi Health and Indus Hospital, Medi Health’s patients that require surgery or hospitalization will be treated on priority basis at Indus Hospital. This has been achieved by streamlining the tiresome process of getting appointments. LKMWT would in turn provide follow-up services to their patients that reside in Shah Faisal Colony.
LKMWT organizes Iftari
This Ramadan almost 1400 people were given iftari by LKMWT. Besides this, packets pf dates were also distributed among 575 families. LKMWT provided food not only in Shah Faisal but the program was extended to other communities as well. The Trust plans to hold more such iftaris over the Holy Month. We realize that the numbers are not staggering but our efforts were constrained by limited funds.
On 23 September, Biryani was distributed among the residents of Khokrapar by LKMWT. As word spread among the locals, they flocked to the LKMWT ambulance. In all around 450 people were provided food by the trust. The volunteers also went to the slums in the areas and served the poor there as well.
