Recently, the Stage Show Committee of the Karachi Arts Council conducted an event in the memory of legendary actor, Late Latif Kapadia. 29th March 2011 marks the 9th anniversary of a man who meant much more to the people around him as the ones who watched him on TV.
In attendance were people from all walks of life and more prominent ones included Fatima Suraiya Bajiya, Saadt Jafri, Tahira Kapadia, Ahmed Shah Iqbal, Iqbal Latif, Anwar Iqbal and others.
The speakers asserted the role of the legendary artiste who was more than an actor; an individual who believed in committing to humanitarian work as well. His daughter, Tahira Kapadia spoke highly of her father, labeling him as an ideal dad.
The evening concluded with prayers for the deceased.
